nudey camping nudey camping nudey camping

hi all,

here's the email that i've sent to folks who responded to my earlier post, in case you were 1/2 interested and wanted more details

we've hired 2- 3 cabins

and i'm told there's plenty of water in the wollondilly river and a new spa

after emailing folks back n forwards, it has been suggested, and i agree, that it's probably a goood idea, that we get together to chat about transport and food and other consumerables and equipment and anything else that's on our minds

so how about 5pm on sunday the 5th of november (that's this sunday)

at the courthouse hotel, on the corner of australia and lennox streets, newtown

probably in the beer garden if the weather is fine

for folks who dont know me, i'll wear a black baseball cap with a red seqinned R on the front, and i'll leave a striped with multicolours, woven ( actually it looks crotcheted) hat on the table

so we can easily find each other

this isn't a compulsary meeting, just a chance to make sure they have transport there and back

and we can chat generally about stuff

lets hope we get sunny dayz and the river's flowing

Nude camping

hi all

each year as the weather warms up a few of us head south to river island, clothing optional resort, for an all over tan.

last year was fun,

this year we've booked in for the weekend of friday 17th to sunday 19th of november 2006

river island is quite close to sydney (just past mittagong), very picturesque and well serviced

it's nestled in a valley full of wildlife that is beautiful to drive into in the early evening, the river even has platypi (if that's the plural of platypuses) though the water was a bit cold in august of last year - hence we're suggesting a november trip for this year, and the camping sites run along the river, which is where we've camped in the past

there are cabins of varying sizes (we've booked a five person cabin and are happy to share with three others), covered caravans and a fairly basic kiosk, the pool area has plenty of warm and cold water pools and spas with plenty of decking set in a very lush garden

we've thought about checking out some of the other resorts as well, which we may do if people are interested

if you'd like to check out the river island website go to

http://www.riverisland.com.au/

whilst lazing about under the stars last year, i saw 8 shooting stars from the taurids and leonids meteor streams

either email me back if you'd like to chat about it

or just meet us there

hav fun

Bi-NSW AGM & Celebrate Bisexuality Week debrief

Dear all,

Once a year Bi-NSW spends 15 minutes doing the formal AGM stuff that comes as part of being an "Incorporated Association". It's also the time that we try to cajole a few more people to be involved in our "planning group" - which is  the group of people who volunteer some of their time to help keep the Bi community active in NSW.  (If you're an introvert like me I really recommend this as a gentle way of getting to know more of the people in our community.)

This year, after the official stuff is over (like I said that only takes around 15 minutes) we'll have some general discussion on how our week of celebration in September panned out. Of course this includes ideas on how to make it better. We can also chat about any other ideas you might have. ie. it'll be informal.
So this is a general invite for you to attend that meeting.

Date: Thurs 19th October
Time: 7:30pm
Location: Glebe
Contact: 0416-070360

If you'd like to attend please RSVP to treasurer@bi-nsw.org.au and I'll send you back the exact address. (We need RSVPs so that we can make sure to have enough chairs available!)
This is also a good time to remind all of you that we would like you to become financial members of Bi-NSW (if you aren't already). Individually $20 isn't a large sum, but for our organisation those subscriptions add up to enough to keep us running as an "official voice" of the Bi community.
Details on how to join are at: www.bi-nsw.org.au/membership.html

Thanks & regards,
Graham McKay
Treasurer, Bi-NSW Inc.
